The Judicial Inquiry Commission has received and considered your request for an
opinion concerning whether a part-time municipal court judge is required under Canon
6C to file a statement of economic interest and/or a disclosure statement of financial
interest. It is the opinion of the Commission that a part-time municipal court judge is
specifically exempted from compliance with Canon 6C.
